A Fully Antimicrobial and IP65 Rated Computer
Cybernet’s latest innovation is the introduction of antimicrobial touch glass on all of our 20″, 22″, and 24″ medical computers. This optional feature is a world’s first and will help facilities come into compliance with federal regulations regarding the reduction of HAIs (Hospital Acquired Infections). The technology involved in making our touch glass antimicrobial is FDA approved and was designed specifically to make our medical grade computers safer for patients and clinicians.
With EMR software now nearly ubiquitous in hospitals and healthcare facilities, the touch glass is one of the main surfaces that can harbor and spread the growth of harmful bacteria. Our antimicrobial touch glass, coupled with the antimicrobial properties baked directly into the plastic housing of our medical grade units make Cybernet’s medical computers the only fully antimicrobial computers in the world.
In addition to being fully antimicrobial, all of Cybernet’s medical grade units are IP65 rated, meaning they can be sprayed down with chemical disinfectants and wiped clean without damaging internal components. With these two features combined, these are the safest computers a healthcare facility can find.
Multiple Screen Sizes and Resolutions Available
The CyberMed S series of fanless medical computers are offered in multiple aspect ratios and screen sizes to suit virtually any healthcare application. The S24 and S22 feature a 16:9 widescreen display with a 1920×1080 full HD resolution. The 16:9 aspect ratio is perfect for modern EMR applications including Epic, Medhost and many others to assist with patient charting.
The CyberMed S20 is a 20″ device for areas that require a slightly smaller footprint and lighter weight. This model provides an HD resolution of 1600×900 in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
The CyberMed S19 is 19″ model and better suited for legacy software applications designed for 4:3 aspect ratio. But unlike legacy hardware, The CyberMed S19 bridges the gap between legacy equipment and modern technology with its 1280×1024 resolution and sleek clean design.
Medically Certified, Waterproof, and Safe to Use Near Patients
These Cybernet computers are housed in an antimicrobial plastic to discourage microbe growth and help prevent nosocomial infections. It’s IP65-rated to withstand water splashes and direct sprays, so you can clean them several thousand times by directly spraying on their front bezel. Each CyberMed computer meets the UL/cUL 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1 medical standard of electrical and radiation hazards for near-patient safety.
Imprivata Single Sign On Certified
Two factor authentication might not be the law yet, but with more and more hospitals moving in that direction, you can take advantage of this Imprivata SSO certified line of medical computers. The integrated RFID reader and biometric scanner ensure that only authorized clinicians have access to patient information and other medical data.
Furthermore, with these features integrated into the design of the computer, IT won’t have to worry about managing and maintaining 3rd party dongles that are far more likely to break or get misplaced.
Optional 2D Barcode Scanner and Integrated Audio Ports
Both the CyberMed S22 and CyberMed S24 have a three-in-one cable management cover with an optional 2D barcode scanner for medication identification and easy-access audio ports for use with video conferencing and telehealth applications. Keep cables secure and protected from accidental disconnection while multitasking whether this device is mounted on a medical cart, a patient bedside table, or on the wall of a patient room.
The additional functionality of a built in barcode scanner can assist healthcare practitioners with tasks like medication distribution without the need for an extra peripheral device.
Optional Integrated Reading Light
Hospitals, long term care facilities, and nursing homes operate on a 24/7 schedule. That means lots of late night visits to a patient’s bedside.
The CyberMed S19 and CyberMed S20 medical panel PCs have the option of an integrated reading light to help nurses read patient charts, double check medication labels or decipher doctor orders without disturbing patients by turning on room lights. These lights are integrated underneath the front bezel of the unit to illuminate the medical cart’s work surface, making workflow easier and more efficient.
A Fanless Design for Quieter, Cleaner Operation
Nosocomial infections, or infections that are transmitted in a hospital, are extremely costly. These fanless medical computers are engineered to help prevent the spread of dust, germs, and harmful microbes. This means that this computer is safe for use in sterile environments like an operating room or a pharmacy lab. Fanless design also helps to keep dust out so the internal components last longer and a lack of a fan also means one less potential point of failure reducing maintenance costs and saving money in the long term.
Citrix and Intel Certified
Citrix Ready Endpoint Premium Certification is another extra step taken by Cybernet to ensure customers of our commitment to full compatibility and compliance with all major EHR & EMR applications that run through a Citrix Virtual Environment. In order to receive this certification, this unit has been submitted to Citrix and put through a rigorous testing process in their labs.
In addition, our devices have been certified by Intel labs to the highest and most stringent protocols in design and reliability testing including thermal shock and thermal recycling.
